Lida lives and works in Los Angeles. She has spent her childhood in Tehran, Iran and her teens in Vancouver, Canada. She travels extensively and is currently working towards her licensure as an architect. Her photography and paintings have been exhibited in both Canada and USA.
Lida’s work explores the relationship between multiculturalism and emotional memories. From an early age, she has been fascinated by the essential yet unreality quality of the space around. Her work is characterized by continuity of curves, inspired by patterns in nature, organic curvilinear movement of organisms at various scales, and calligraphy.
